Hello, my name is Millie and I need to find a new home. My Dad loves me very much but is moving away and can't take me with him. I am 7&1/2 years old and was rescued from Carr
House in Hull 4 years ago.
I am fully innoculated, microchipped and spayed and am in good health. Given time, I do get on with other dogs, but have never been around young children, so best not go there! I don't like travelling in the car very much and I 'm a bit of a Houdini, so I need a secure garden. I am very loving and like nothing more than having my tummy tickled. Please share as my Dad is getting very worried about me xx

ABOUT HORNSEA DOG OWNERS
Hornsea Dog Owners Club started in 1990 in response to anti-dog propaganda and the threat of a dog-ban in Hornsea's Hallgarth Park. During that time the club has trained hundreds of dogs in basic obedience, many having been awarded their K.C. Good Citizens bronze, silver and gold medals--one in the eye for the dog-detractors!
Through various activities, most particularly its annual Dog-Show, the club has also established strong links with, and raised money for many dog-charities and sanctuaries, local and national. We liaise very closely with our local vet/police-station/dog-warden and Town Council, who regard us as setting the tone for responsible ownership, and we've helped re-home many a stray or abandoned animal.
PROBLEM DOG? NEED ONE-TO-ONE? (Please also see details below.)
Don't struggle on alone! Ring Elaine Wood, canine behavioural consultant:

FUN AGILITY CLASSES
Unfortunately, won't be happening this year, due to ageing equipment and other commitments. Thanks to everyone for their attendance in years gone by, and for all the fun we had!
DOG-SHOW 2012:
Please note that, due to various complications and unforeseen circumstances, we were unable to hold a show this year. We do apologise for any disappointment caused, and hope that we'll be able to resume in the future.
NOMINATED CHARITY 2012:
In lieu of the usual dog-show proceeds, Hornsea Dog-Owners have made a £1,000 donation to Hillside Animal Sanctuary's Romanian dog-rescue project. (Please see In the News page.)
OBEDIENCE TRAINING
We run courses in Basic Obedience every ten weeks throughout the year, with an option for more advanced training. Our experienced team will also help with any canine problems, so don't struggle on alone! And apart from learning the basics, the major spin-off of any good class is socialisation--we can guarantee you and your dog will have many enjoyable evenings.
Obedience-sessions take place at Catwick Village Hall.. Please book early to avoid disappointment, as we only take 10 dogs per course.
