THE TEAM

Molly Weeks, founder member and Executive Secretary, has bred bull-terriers for over 30 years. She has travelled extensively in her role as Bull-Terrier Secretary, is a Winston Churchill Fellow, researching the role of Education and Animal Welfare, and has written five books.
Favourite breed: obvious!--currently owned by Baby-Moth.

Karen Whitchurch, General Dogsbody, is dog-mad, having been involved with them all her life. Has written many articles on canine-topics, and reads widely round the subject. She's trained all her own dogs--(with varying degrees of success!)
Comic fantasy aside (Please see KWolfe page) Has just completed a humorous/common-sense book aimed at the everyday dog-owner, is currently writing book 2 in her comic-crime-with-dogs series, featuring Georgie Crane, dog-whisperer, and shares her life with Jake the Airedale terrier, and Gus, the springer spaniel.

Jean Lee, (too shy to appear on this web-page) has owned and trained dogs all her life. Has no particular favourite, and lives in noisy confusion with Taffle, a crosbreed rescue bitch.

Ann Dixon, an invaluable team-member, who has over 30 years' experience with dogs, works with Hull Animal Welfare Trust, both at South Cave and as a local area home-checker. Is currently owned by Digger, Teasel, Bree and Mac.

Lynda Downie, who is BIPTD qualified, has 30 years' experience in all aspects of dog-training, does one-to-one assessment and also finds time to run puppy-classes, is Hornsea Dog Owners' instructor. Husband Roger lends moral support and Charlie the demo-dog shows 'em all how it should be done!!

Elaine Wood...a fully-qualified dog-groomer, offers a comprehensive local service for all breeds (and cross-breeds!)

Also a BIPDT qualified instructor and canine behaviour consultant, Elaine has vast experience in assessing and training re-homed dogs.
